WayForward’s Mighty Switch Force! 2, released back in June, will be creeping onto the Wii U eShop in the not-so-distant future. WayForward confirmed the news with Nintendo Everything and hopes to make an official statement within the next few weeks.

I only just got around to playing through MSF2 the last few days, and despite its feeling more or less a level pack for the first game, I had a blast and a half. I was especially blown away by the ending theme song — if you haven’t heard it yet, believe me when I say you’re not ready!

Anyway, I would gladly double dip for a Hyper Drive version. Kicking babies in HD sounds like the perfect guilty pleasure.
