Blacklight: Retribution gets level cap increase, Dropzone

New gear made available, too

Fans of Zombie Studios’ Blacklight: Retribution will be happy to hear that the free-to-play FPS has received a splendid little update, increasing the level cap as well as adding a new map that Tango Down players are sure to recognize.

Zombie Studios has taken Dropzone, one of my all-time favourite maps from Tango Down, and dropped it (hah, right guys? Guys?) into Retribution. Along with the new map, the level cap has been raised from 40 to 50. Players will also be able to pick up new titles and camouflage as they level up.

New gear, including melee weapons and the Infrared Protection Gear, have also been included in the update — 7-day versions of said gear are available for purchase using GP.
