‘A host of enhacements’

Continuing with its plans to release the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy on Steam, Square Enix has announced the Steam release date of Final Fantasy XIII-2, “with a host of new features and enhancements,” as spotted by Eurogamer

I kind of liked XIII-2, even more than I kind of liked XIII, but I didn’t finish the former. That bit in rain slick, neon Academia 400 AF should’ve been my jam, but it was a damn slog, fighting all those boring Cie’th every 10 steps. That killed my forward momentum and by the time I got to the “if you go through here you can’t go back and sidequests are locked” portal, my endurance and enthusiasm ran out.
