Raven shares source code for Jedi Knight games

Homage paid to LucasArts memory

In the wake of LucasArts’ death at the hands of Disney, Raven Software and Activision have decided to release the source code for the Jedi Knight games — Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast

“Raven is sad to hear about the closing of LucasArts today, we respected them and enjoyed working with them over the years,” the studio told Kotaku. “… As a gift to the persistently loyal fanbase for our Jedi games and in memory of LucasArts, we are releasing the source code for both games for people to enjoy and play with.”

You can download Jedi Outcast here, and get Jedi Academy here. There’s no support for either of them, so dig in and have fun.
