Today details on Battlefield Hardline were leaked out. Now Electronic Arts has confirmed the news. Their take on the cops and robbers concept will be unveiled in full during their press conference on June 9 at 12:00PM PDT.
Until then, Visceral Games’ Steve Papoutsis stated that Hardline will be “a brand new series in the Battlefield franchise, set against the backdrop of a genre we all love — the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals.” Papoutsis noted that they’re adding “new twists and turns to the foundation of Battlefield multiplayer” while creating a single-player mode as well.
EA’s conference will be livestreamed, and now we know that Battlefield Hardline is one of the six brand new games set to be revealed at E3.
