Oh, it’s that magical time of year! The season where E3 anticipation is in full swing, and publishers send out friendly emails to remind everyone that they’re going to have a presence at the big show. Ubisoft sounds as if it sort of has the same ol’, same ol’ on its mind, as its plans seem pretty par for the course.
On Monday June 9, Ubisoft will hold its usual press conference at 3:00 p.m. PDT at the Orpheum Theatre, which will also stream on the publisher’s Youtube channel. Aisha Tyler will again be hosting the affair; hopefully #girlwood is back in full force.
Pending some possible new announcements, Ubisoft’s current line-up of games is Assassin’s Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, Tom Clancy’s The Division, Valiant Hearts: The Great War, and The Crew. Ubi’s confirmed that all of these except Valiant Hearts will be playable on the showfloor.
Finally, like last year, Ubisoft will host the Uplay Lounge, where fans can get the E3 treatment away from the convention center. Held at The Standard Hotel in downtown LA, approximately 1,000 fans will be selected to play everything Ubisoft’s showing at the show and talk with developers. Anyone interested in that can sign up on the Uplay Lounge website.
