Dying Light delayed, coming out February 2015

Delayed to make improvements

Dying Light was originally going to be released this year, but developer Techland just announced they have to delay the release until February 2015. Techland has stated that the delay is due to them improving the traversal system of the game, a system very reminiscent of Mirror’s Edge

“The new date ensures that we can fully realize our vision of an innovative open world game,” a Techland representative stated. “We  won’t need to make compromises or trade-offs on any of the five platforms we’re working on. For  you, it means an outstanding, original game that makes the wait more than worthwhile.”

News on Dying Light has been rather dry lately, but we’ll be hearing new things about the game come next month at E3. Otherwise Dying Light will be out early next year on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3.
