Why coding should be taught in all schools

All kids need to at least be exposed to coding

While this isn’t exactly gaming news, it does directly impact the gaming industry. Really, any industry that relies on computers. Coding is the DNA of every websites, games, electronics, and far more. I’d go so far as to say that coding is an essential part of life, and yet not many people know how to do it.

Coding may seem hard, but as people like Gabe Newell of Valve, Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, Bill Gates of Microsoft, and so many more successful people state in this video, it’s not really that hard at all. Plus our growing dependency won’t be able to match the small amount of people that actually know how to do it. Hopefully more schools take the steps needed to teach this kind of stuff to kids.
