Killzone: Shadow Fall humiliates Jimmy Fallon

KILL HIM! KILL HIM!

Well, at least we know the Killzone: Shadow Fall demo is playable, and wasn’t just some pre-cooked video. How do we know that? Because Jimmy Fallon tried to play it, and gave us a very different version of what we saw Wednesday night.

In what turns out to be quite an amusing bit of footage, both Fallon and Anthony Anderson tried to play Shadow Fall, failing miserably. Of course, the demo could still be heavily scripted and it’s clear the player character was invincible, but hey, it’s real-time.

We also got a few interesting tidbits of information. Guerrilla’s Herman Hulst said the Dual Shock 4‘s touch pad could be used for easily swiping through menus — finally giving us a use for something that looks useless — and we also saw Shadow Fall‘s new Focus Mode, a fancy term for Bullet Time.

Still, is Jimmy quite the gamer geek he claims to be? He really didn’t seem to know what a first-person shooter was, judging by this.
