Look into it, and then do it

Responding to a comment on the EU PlayStation Blog post about The Last of Us‘ final content release for Season Pass owners — a bunch of new stuff for multiplayer and the single-player’s “hardest challenge” yet, Grounded Mode —  Naughty Dog spoke about possibly saving current players money on the upcoming PlayStation 4 remaster once it’s out.

Asked if folks who own The Last of Us and its DLC pass will get a discount on the new version of the game, community strategist Eric Monacelli said: “We’re looking into the business model for all this and will post about this once we have input from all regions.”

They really ought to offer something for those players. Even with the visual upgrades and bonus content included in Remastered, paying a full $60 again is a bit much to ask of us.
