Hearthstone plays just as great on the iPad

It’s my preferred platform

As a general rule, I don’t play a game excessively during its beta stage. I don’t particularly like getting invested in something that may utterly change after the full release, and Hearthstone is no exception. Although I dabbled in its beta for coverage purposes, I didn’t really get into it until the final build, and now I can’t stop playing.

While I was trucking along on PC for some time, my new addiction is the iPad build, which is basically a 1:1 port that allows cross-platform play by way of Battle.net. It’s also incredibly smooth, and allows every single action by way of dragging and tapping. The best part is that you get to keep all the same progress across both platforms, so you can play it on the go and return to the PC if that’s your preference.

Recently, I’ve been playing it from the comfort of a recliner or sofa while my wife goes head to head with me on the Mac version, and things have been working out swimmingly. If you haven’t given the game a go yet, definitely try it for free when it hits your region.
