Oculus VR recruits Aaron Nicholls, yet another one of Valve’s employees

Well, ex-employees

Now that Oculus VR has all that sweet social networking money behind it, it’s not shy about going out and finding new employees. You can add Aaron Nicholls as the newest member to begin working out of the Valve satellite office at Oculus.

Nicholls joins the likes of Michael Abrash and Atman Binstock as recent departures from Valve that made the commitment to Oculus. From the sounds of it, Nicholls will be working alongside his former (and now current) co-workers in research and development.

It seems as if Nicholls will be right at home with Oculus. According to his LinkedIn profile, he “spent two years researching and implementing virtual reality technology, including a wide range of perceptual and physical considerations necessary for delivering presence in VR.” That’s pretty much straight up his new employer’s alley.
