Ridable elephants in the Himalayas rumored for Far Cry 4

Yes to all of this

As much as I truly am down for more Far Cry, I don’t have it in me to play through another tropical island setting. There’s been talk before that the still-unannounced Far Cry 4 will travel to the Himalayas — a much more compelling location, in my mind — and these rumors are back by way of Eurogamer. Also, there might be monsters? Yeah. That wouldn’t be too shocking.

In addition to backing up prior reports about the new locale, the outlet has it on good authority that Far Cry 4 will let players ride elephants, which is going to sound pointless to some of you and freakin’ amazing to the rest of us. Elephants, man.

Ubisoft is expected to make an announcement in June at E3 and release the game prior to the end of March 2015, most likely for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. That’d be the place!
