As of today, Deus Ex: The Fall is now on Steam following its mobile release last year. Players command former British SAS mercenary Ben Saxon as he tracks down a drug conspiracy in 2027.
Once you get over the fact that the protagonist is Jean Reno-esque, a fact which does tickle me so, The Fall appears skippable for now. At least to me, a guy who hasn’t yet played it. Chris has — he reviewed the iOS version for us — and says it’ll be worth a second look during a Steam sale.
Current purchases of The Fall include the Game of the Year Edition of the original Deus Ex as a freebie, though I cannot imagine who would be buying the former without having played the latter.
