As we all know, the indie hit Towerfall is coming to the PC and PS4 following a six month Ouya exclusivity deal in the form of Towerfall Ascension. But you might want to start organizing some local tournaments, as creator Matt Thorson has revealed that the new version of the game will not have online play.
It will however feature “substantially more” single player content, as well as a full co-op campaign on top of four player PVP. While the lack of online play bums me out in the long run, I can’t wait for this re-release to hit the PS4, as I know it’ll be a hit with my local gaming group.
