Live show: The Typing of The Dead: Overkill

A somewhat educational take on smut and violence

[Mash Tactics airs Monday through Friday at 4p.m. Pacific on Dtoid.TV. Watch Rick ‘King Foom’ Olson play a variety of games, each day with its own theme. With a heavy focus on community and viewer interaction, you can be as much a part of the show as anything else.]

I absolutely loved the original The House of The Dead: Overkill, in fact, this vulgar and vile little game ended up becoming one of my all-time favorites. So, when I recently heard that there was a new version of Overkill using the classic Typing of The Dead formula, I just knew this was something that I would have to share with our viewers on an eventual episode of Mash Tactics.

Witness as I fumble along through the game this evening using my awkwardly slow two-finger typing style, and as my lack of keyboard coordination gets showcased in front of a live audience. The good news for me however, is that The Typing of The Dead: Overkill also comes with a port of the original game that I can easily switch over to, perchance I do become a bit too frustrated with my typing ineptitude. In fact, you can pretty much count on that happening at some point.
