Capcom announces Resident Evil 6 Anthology, RE6 Archives

Earlier this week, retailer listings pointed to two separate Resident Evil 6 compilation discs, which Capcom has now confirmed. They’re due out on October 2, 2012, the same day as the standard edition of the game and will retail for $89.99 each.

• Resident Evil: Director’s Cut

• Resident Evil Code: Veronica X HD
• Resident Evil Degeneration (DVD film)

Interesting division of content. I have a feeling many of you looking forward to RE6 already own digital copies of too many of these prior games for either package to be worth it. Is that accurate?
