World of Warcraft sees a spike in unauthorized logins

Emails are going out now

Bad news World of Warcraft players — Blizzard’s sent out a PSA that the game is experiencing an unusual rise in unauthorized logins from both the website and mobile app. The good news? Blizzard looks like it’s going to rectify the situation super duper speedy fast.

Emails are going out to anyone that might be affected, with instructions on how to reset accounts. The support team will restore in-game items and gold for impacted players upon request. The mobile app has also been temporarily deactivated.

Security breaches are the worst, and hopefully everyone gets out unscathed. Just remember: When things look bad, you can’t just give up on the Worldof Warcraft.
