A server maintenance for FC 26 will take place today, and this will disrupt the online services. The maintenance appears to be routing, but EA Sports hasn’t informed the reason behind it.
However, the developers have announced the details for today’s maintenance. Hence, we can have an idea about when the online services will be restored.
FC 26 server maintenance details (Aug. 19)
The server maintenance will commence at 1am PDT/3am CDT/4am EDT/8am UTC/9am BST as per the official information. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes before the maintenance begins.
Once matchmaking is disabled, you won’t be able to play with other players. This includes online friendlies and modes like Ultimate Team that requires online connectivity. Even if you manage to log in, you’ll be unable to create any matches.
The maintenance is expected to last for a period of three hours. It will end at 4am PDT/6am CDT/7am EDT/11am UTC/12pm BST. There’s always a chance for the maintenance to be extended. If there’s no delay, the maintenance will last for approximately three hours.
While the maintenance is live, you can try out the Manager Career mode and take your club to newfound glories. This mode doesn’t require any internet connectivity, so the maintenance won’t matter.
You can also try out the Web App/Companion App to solve different SBCs. The current FUTTIES grind is infinite, so you can complete as many of them as you like (be careful about the soft bans).
