Tiel Is a damage and mobility-focused shell whose biggest strength lies in its offensive abilities. With this shell, you can create unique attack opportunities by combining the abilities that allow you to disguise yourself with stealth and then spring a surprise on the enemy.
That said, mastering the skills requires some amount of practice. Let’s now check out the best possible build you can use.
Best weapons for Tiel in Mortal Shell 2
You have to use a weapon that improves the critical damage and utilizes Tiel’s critical chance for the primary weapon. The best choice is the Axe and Dagger. For the sidearm, you want to go with the Salvaged Trebuchaxe.
Throughout my testing, I felt that Tiel is pretty consistent with the Axe and Dagger. The weapon allows you to faster procs to regain the Resolve, and we will find out why that’s so important.
Best Tarstones for Tiel in Mortal Shell 2
I have divided the Tarstones into three categories, and have tried to be as flexible as possible, since finding all of them takes a certain amount of time.
Primary
- Acolyte’s Stone: You consume 15 Resolve to do a boosted light attack that has a higher critical rate and critical damage. The Acolyte also reduces the cost of this charge attack, which makes it crucial for this build.
- Arbiter’s Prize: You consume Resolve to gain Bloodcurse on your weapons, and this can be upgraded.
Support Tarstones
- Deadeye Stone: Extremely crucial with this build since it increases Critical damage for all ranged attacks.
- Retribution Store: Since Riposte is a key aspect of Tiel, buffing the damage helps you kill enemies faster.
For the rest, you can pick those that allows you to get more resources.
Tiel shell point allocations in Mortal Shell 2
Allocating your shell points efficiently will be key. For this build, it’s rather simple.
- Escalation (Level 1): 1 point
- Lasting Legacy (Level 1): 1 point
- Deathmark (Level 1): 1 point
- Nightstride (Level 1): 1 point
- Critical Role (Level 3): 6 points
- Seal Affinity (Level 2): 3 points
At Level 3, both your melee and ranged attacks after Shadow Strike are guaranteed crit hits. A guaranteed crit hits results in +100% damage, making it the core part of this build. The role is simple: perform Shadow Strikes as frequently as possible, and then chain it with a follow-up melee/ranged attack.
With two levels on Seal Affinity, you gain Shadow stacks for mistimed guards/parry. However, doing them successfully will result in buffing your base damage, so you’re in a win-win situation.
Best Tiel seal and items in Mortal Shell 2
For Seal, Untarnished Seal is my preferred choice. It allows you to block an incoming attack, and correct timing allows you to do a Perfect Guard and Break damage.
For items, I just go with Common Moonshine and Sheephead Totem. Common Moonshine recovers your Resolve, while the latter reduces the max life of all enemies.
