Combat Bags in Mistfall Hunter are arguably one of the most important resources you can have on your journey. They can help you clear the early-game adventures, and they ensure that you don’t have to worry about running out of gear items to start a run.
Combat Bags come in different rarities and provide you with a ready-made build so that you can jump in and raid at your liking. There is a limit, and you cannot use them as many times as you want.
In this guide, I will help you figure out how to get more Combat Bags inside the game.
How to obtain Combat Bags in Mistfall Hunter
Once you clear the tutorial, you will be introduced to the concept of Combat Bags. These bags come in five different realities and provide you with a ready-made loadout. The higher the rarity, the better the equipment, but it’s significantly easier to get a lower-rarity combat bag, like the Novice Combat Bag. Here are all the variants that you can find inside the game.
Irrespective of the type of Combat Bag you want, the core methods of obtaining them remain the same. All types of Combat Bags have a certain max limit. If you go beyond that number, you will be wasting combat bags. The Novice Combat Bag has a maximum capacity of 10 for your inventory, and they are the easiest ones to obtain. The Limited Combat Bag provides you with the best equipment, but it’s also the hardest one to obtain.
How do we obtain the Combat Bags? Here are the three main methods:
- Scavenger Squad: When you speak with Twig, you can send a scavenger Squad on different expeditions. Each expedition takes a fixed amount of time, and they complete it on their own. Once complete, you can speak with Twig once again and get all the rewards they have obtained for you. This can also include Combat Bags. While you cannot guarantee a Combat Bag upon completion of an expedition, you can check out the preview rewards before starting.
- Destiny Map Store: An event is currently live in Mistfall Hunter that rewards you with a currency known as the Echo of Fate. You can gain it by completing different objectives, and you can earn a maximum of 3,000 currency per week. This should be enough to get you the Pro Combat Bag and the Advanced Combat Bag that’s available in the store. Do note that this is a time-limited event, so this method might not be available when you are reading this in the future.
- Path of Glory: Once you enable Path of Glory before the start of a run, you will earn progression points based on how well you do in a battle. Once you hit certain milestones, you can get Combat Bags for absolutely free. Hitting the Duskborne tier rewards you with a Pro Combat Bag. Hitting the Mistwalker tier rewards you with the Elite Combat Bag. You will also need to complete three matches in each tier to get your rewards.
The easiest method out of the three is to send your Scavenger Squad. As you upgrade your Scavenger Squad, you will be able to send them for better expeditions. That will significantly improve the chances and possibilities of them returning with the Pro Combat Bag or better. The method remains the same.
