Operation Payback rewards Counter-Strike: GO map makers

Give back, if you want

Starting with Operation Payback, Valve is putting together a series of limited-time updates that intend to help out Counter-Strike: Global Offensive map makers. This $2.99 pass (regularly $5.99) is available until July 31 and offers access to official servers for seven community-made maps.

The featured maps are Museum, Downtown, Thunder, Favela, Motel, Seaside, and Library. If you have enjoyed playing these, you can continue to do so, but now you have the opportunity to support the folks who spent countless hours creating this content.

Those who participate will earn a challenge coin that’s displayed by their avatar. It’s also worth pointing out that you can bring friends into matches hosted on these dedicated servers even if they didn’t pay for a pass. Don’t be a stranger!
