Hercules is on a mission to help Phil get one of his favorite items out of storage in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Unfortunately, this mission goes awry, as things tend to in the valley, so your help is needed to navigate The Grecian Urn quest.
This task is a crucial one to work through if you want to build your friendship with Hercules. Like all friendship missions, it comes with some tricky parts, so here’s a complete walkthrough for The Grecian Urn quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete The Grecian Urn in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Visit the Dream Castle
To get things moving, head to the Dream Castle in the middle of the Plaza biome. Once you’re inside, head right to meet up with Hercules near Phil’s Grecian Urn. Talk to Hercules to see what he needs from you.
Pick up the Grecian Urn Fragments
Phil wanted help moving his ancient Grecian Urn out of the castle, but Hercules gets a little too confident carrying it and breaks it almost immediately, so it’s up to you to find a fix. Start by picking up all eight Grecian Urn Fragments from the ground around the castle.
Talk to Mirabel about art restoration
Mirabel’s an expert at fixing what’s broken, so track her down around the valley and chat with her to see if she can offer any helpful guidance for your tricky situation. Luckily, she does, which means you can officially move on to fixing things.
Gather the resources to craft some Conservator’s Glue
Next up, you need to work on gathering the required materials to make Conservator’s Glue. The items you need to make this glue are as follows.
- Two Eggs – Can be purchased from the pantry at Tiana’s Palace or Chez Remy for 220 Star Coins.
- Two Seaweed – Can be caught when fishing in open water anywhere around the main valley or over in the Wild Tangle if you have the A Rift in Time DLC.
- 15 Soil – Can be found while digging in any biome.
Once you have the materials gathered, head to any crafting station. Then, click on the Hercules quest icon and select the Conservator’s Glue item to make it. Talk to Hercules after you’ve made it to share your progress.
Dress up in rustic clothing
You don’t want to mess up any nice clothes while working on fixing the Grecian Urn, so your next task is to dress up in some rustic clothing. You need to equip three items that are tagged as rustic to progress past this step. Clicking on the Hercules quest icon in your wardrobe is the easiest way to find them.
Visit Hercules and Phil’s house
Once you look the part, have all eight Grecian Urn Fragments, and the Conservator’s Glue, venture to Hercules and Phil’s house to move on. Pass the items you gathered over to Hercules for the next step.
Interact with the orb to glue the Grecian Urn Fragments together
Approach the crafting station next to Hercules and interact with the orb there to start a puzzle that allows you to repair the urn. This one is similar to other quest puzzles you’ve likely completed in the past, like the Ruined Mosaic of the Gods puzzle during A Real Godly Mess and the Mystery Island puzzle during Whispers in the Wind.
Your goal here is to place all the available pieces in the right spot. Pick up each piece from the tray on the left, rotate them as needed, and drop them on the right wherever they belong. Chat with Hercules once the Grecian Urn has been fixed. It’s certainly looking better now, but a bit of extra work is still required to get it up to Phil’s high standards.
Gather primary-color gemstones
Hercules has an idea for adding some extra pizazz to the Grecian Urn, but he needs you to gather some primary-color gemstones to help bring his vision to life. For this part of the mission, you need to find:
- One blue gemstone – Aquamarine, Blue Zircon, Pure Ice, Sapphire, or Star Sapphire.
- One red gemstone – Garnet, Ruby, or Spinel.
- One yellow gemstone – Citrine or Topaz.
Make sure you have one of each color gemstone in your inventory, then meet up with Hercules to pass them over. He’ll turn them into some handy Gemstone Powders you can use.
Add the Gemstone Powders to the Grecian Urn in Phil’s house
Return to Hercules and Phil’s house to find the Grecian Urn sitting on the crafting station in the corner where you left it. Interact with the urn, then drag over all three Gemstone Powders to apply them. Pick up the Restored Grecian Urn that then drops nearby, then bring it to Phil to show off your hard work.
Place Phil’s Grecian Urn outdoors where it can sparkle
Phil loves the new version of the Grecian Urn so much that he wants everyone in the valley to see it. Head outside and place the Restored Grecian Urn anywhere in the valley so it can sparkle for all to see. Then, chat with Hercules one last time to officially conclude The Grecian Urn quest.
