Holy Butz/Bartz!

We knew it had to be coming soon after the Japanese App Store release, and now here it is: Final Fantasy V is available now for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. This new mobile, touch-screen version of the Super Famicom RPG adds new job classes, including the Gladiator, Cannoneer, Oracle, and Necromancer. It also brings an optional boss named Enuo, designed by Tetsuya Nomura. And, as you’d guess, the graphics and characters have been overhauled for this port.

Final Fantasy V is available now for $15.99.

In related news, mobile RPG Chaos Rings makes a move to Windows Phone today. It’s compatible with version 7.5 of the OS, with 8.0 support coming soon. It’s priced at $9.99, available today.
