Regular titanium, quartz, and copper will only get you so far in Subnautica 2. While they’re enough to unlock several early game tools and equipment items, you’ll need more advanced materials like titanium ingots to gain the rest.

How to make titanium ingots in Subnautica 2
Creating titanium ingots requires building a processor. You’ll need to find a processor in the ocean, scan it with your Scanner, and build it in your base before you unlock your titanium ingot blueprint.
How to unlock the Processor
Unlocking the processor first requires making a scanner and finding a processor somewhere in the ocean. Your best bet early on is to visit the Old Habitat POI 380 meters north of your Lifepod. Inside this POI has multiple processor machines you can scan to obtain its blueprint.

Once you access to the processor blueprint, you can build it within your base using the following resources:
- Titanium (2)
- Mild Acid (1)
- Copper Wire (1)
While titanium is plentiful throughout Subnautica 2’s map, copper wires are slightly more challenging, as copper primarily appears within caves. Mild Acid also requires copper alongside Acidic Raion Pouches, which you can obtain by breaking Acid Raion plants using your Survival Multitool.
How to process titanium ingots
After collecting every item, build your processor inside your base to gain access to several ingot recipes, including titanium ingots.
To begin processing titanium into ingots, interact with the processor, and select Titanium Ingot as its recipe. You can now load three titanium into the machine and wait 30 seconds for it to process your minerals. You’ll receive one ingot as a reward, which you can collect from its right side compartment.
