Farever‘s early access build offers four different classes for you to choose from, and they’re all pretty unique in their own right. In the correct hands, any class can have potential. That said, some of them seem to be a touch above the rest, and this guide will help you to clear your doubts about which one you should pick.

Complete Farever class tier list

As of writing, there are four classes to choose from.

  • Priest
  • Rogue
  • Warrior
  • Mage

To separate them, I have used two tiers. S-tier represents the best choices in the current meta. They’re either perfect for solo play or they play a crucial role in teams. A-tier choices are close to S-tier options, but they’re slightly weak in the current power curve.

S-tier

  • Warrior: The Warrior is the best class in the game, and more so if you don’t have friends to play with. It has the highest HP among all classes, but there’s no shortage of damage potential. Your skills build up Rage, which is then used to activate the Ultimate. After a few upgrades, you can also passively generate Rage to trigger your Ultimate faster. The Ultimate, Raging Smash, does tonnes of AoE damage that can trap multiple enemies. Additionally, you can also buff your own damage and raise the crit % of your allies. Overall, the Warrior is almost a ‘broken’ class.
  • Priest: If you’re playing with others, Priest is almost essential when you’re trying to clear difficult content. However, you can do pretty well with the class while going solo. Yes, the DPS won’t be as high as the three other classes, but you can still buff it up. The Priest’s kit offers a lot of healing and survival potential. The kit also offers plenty of ways to buff up allies, which makes the class a great pick in team-based play.

A-tier

  • Rogue: The Rogue class has the best DPS potential of all four options in the current build of the game. You use your skills to get Combo Points, which are then used to perform the Ultimate. The damage from your Ultimate also scales up with how many Combo Points you obtain. While Combo Points aren’t too hard to get, they can be slightly complicated as you need to chain the combos. The general survivability can also be slightly difficult if you’re a beginner. While the Rogue’s weaknesses can be managed with the right build, it’s a tad too difficult in my books.
  • Mage: I have tried multiple builds with the Mage, but it remains a glass cannon. You do a lot of damage from a distance, which should make you safe. However, you practically have very little health; if you get caught, you’re as good as dead. With the right build, the Mage class is extremely powerful. However, it’s equally unforgiving and can punish you if you make a mistake.

Just like classes, you also get to pick from different professions available in Farever. The professions make you proficient in specific jobs, which will help you clear more content.
