All professions in Farever

The current early access build of Farever has six different options available for all. At first, you’ll need to choose one after speaking with Job Welldon. However, you can learn multiple ones to enhance your character and make yourself more efficient at different tasks. Professions might be separate from the available combat classes, but they have their own uses.

The table below has brief information on what each job is all about.

ProfessionExplanation
BlacksmithYou can craft armors of all shapes and sizes that will help you withstand the difficulties of a battle.
AlchemistAllows you to understand how different ingredients work and craft various potions.
OutfitterThis profession is all about crafting different clothes and shoes.
JewelerIf you like shaping gems and adding them to powerful rings and amulets, this is a perfect profession for you. All crafted items will have powerful effects and bonuses.
CookAllows you to cook different food items that aren’t only delicious but also provide you with various boosts.
EnchanterYou can use magic to change the stats and potential of equipment, and make them more powerful.

There are no bad choices, and you’ll also want to learn multiple professions. Doing so will make you proficient in different trades. If you’re like me, who will mostly play solo, Alchemist is a good choice. It will allow you to use various ingredients to craft all kinds of potions. Some of these items will help you heal when you take damage and fight for a longer time. You’ll also get plenty of Crafting Points that can then be used to unlock more recipes.

As an alternative, becoming a Jeweler is also a good choice. You’ll always use different ornaments with your build to raise your potential. Being a Jeweler allows you to min-max your build, which is crucial for the current stages of mid and endgame. It’s a good alternative or a second profession that you should master over time.
