I’m over here playing Daikatana, guys. For only $5.99, you get Superfly Johnson, wonky A.I., four distinct worlds, a pretty great soundtrack, and one of the most infamously disappointing games of all time.
I really liked Daikatana. Well, everything except playing it. I listened to the soundtrack in my mom’s car, had fun exploring the levels, and laughed at the terrible voice acting. It was so ambitious. It kind of holds up in an odd way, since I can still appreciate what it aimed to do, even if it didn’t accomplish that.
The game kind of sells itself, huh?
