While a fair number of us weren’t enthused with Resident Evil 6, some players are into it, and for that reason it’s nice to see continued support from Capcom. A second title update centered around providing more options will go live on January 22, 2013, according to the company.

With the update applied, Agent Hunt mode will be accessible from the get go and have new filter criteria, such as specific regions and whether or not friendly fire is enabled. Additionally, the main game’s individual stages within chapters can be played at any time after initial completion. Rounding out the changes, quick-time-event assist can be turned on in any difficulty level, and Capcom has tweaked the difficulty of certain areas based on player feedback.
