This is what vandalism looks like at PAX

Recommended Videos

Go to any public bathroom stall, and you can expect to find the following examples of vandalism:

  • Violently, worryingly, busted door lock.
  • Piss absolutely everywhere, except for in the toilet.
  • Missing lavatory seat.
  • Mysterious waist-high hole in the wall (I think they swap PEZ dispensers through it?).
  • Scrawlings on the tiles, describing vague sexual threats with accompanying phone numbers.

None of these items were visible during my frequent visits to the filth-factories at PAX, but I did stumble upon the above inscription, which apparently is the closest to hardcore vandalism that 60,000+ geeks get. Yes, it’s just “No More Heroes” scrawled on the wall, confident that you’ll “get” it. This is perhaps the only time graffiti’s been productive.

You GO, gamers!
