Fruit Ninja Kinect is getting a Halo-themed pack

So I think pretty much everyone missed this, but Fruit Ninja Kinect is getting some Halo content soon. At HaloFest, there was one lone Fruit Ninja Kinect kiosk which I originally skipped because, well, it was Fruit Ninja. Don’t get me wrong, I love Fruit Ninja. I just didn’t understand what it was doing at HaloFest.

Fast forward to the following day and a helpful PR rep for Microsoft pointed out the Halo connection. For starters, every time you slash the screen you’ll see two blue lines that represent the Covenant Energy Sword. Not only that, but your reflection in the game is represented like you have Active Camo enabled. Finally, the background has some Halo signage.

So there you go. Fruit Ninja Kinect is getting a Halo-themed DLC pack sometime soon. Cool. Bonus: I caught these two awesome Flood cosplayers playing Fruit Ninja Kinect. I think the giant tentacles gives you an advantage!
