Live show: Persona 4 Arena, early gameplay

[Mash Tactics airs Monday through Friday at 4p.m. Pacific on Dtoid.TV. Watch King Foom play a variety of games, each day with its own theme. With a heavy focus on community and viewer interaction, you can be as much a part of the show as anything else.]

Come by and check out Mash Tactics tonight, as we premiere one of the most anticipated fighting games of the year, Persona 4 Arena. If you haven’t a clue to exactly what this game is all about, allow me to quickly explain. P4 Arena, is a 2D fighting game that brings together a roster of fighters from the popular Persona franchise, and was put together by the highly talented, Arc System Works, creators of Guilty Gear, and BlazBlue.

‘Nuff said.

Now, while we’ll be showing the game off a day early, you’ll still have to wait a bit to see any type of high level play. For one, I’m not all that familiar with the mechanics of Arc System Works previous games, and for two, I’m not as young as I used to be, and my reflexes have taken quite the dive. But, if you don’t mind some very casual gameplay, while hanging out with a great community, come by and hang out with the Dtoid.TV crew this evening and check out the game for yourself!
