First details of Battlefield 3’s fourth expansion pack

Ahead of the release of Armored Kill in September, EA has already went ahead and trickled out some of the first details for the Aftermath expansion set to launch in December for Battlefield 3. Set in a post-earthquake Tehran, the four new maps will be take place in “shattered districts, streets and surrounding villages” that show a “continuing struggle for supremacy and survival amongst the devastation,” according to the official product page

The expansion will also add new weapons, modified military transport and civilian vehicles ready for battle, assignments, achievements, and dog tags. As I said earlier, you’ll have to wait until December for this one, but I suppose it’s never too early to get excited for this. Between this and Armored Kill, it seems that Battlefield Premium is really paying for itself. I should really pick it up myself.
