Electronic Arts holds summer sale, not as good as Steam

Steam’s summer sales are legendary. Games can drop as low as one or two dollars, and lives are saved. Electronic Arts has to get really competitive to make its new rival platform, Origin, stand against Valve’s offerings, so it’s unleashed a summer sale of its own.

Yes, you too can get The Sims Medieval for $29.99!

The sale starts on July 4, and while there are some decent prices, it’s nowhere near as good as what Steam can offer. As someone who wants to vomit into a little bag every time a publisher arrogantly demands he makes some brand new personal account, it’s going to take a lot more than this to make me want Origin.

At the very least, Dead Space on iOS is only a buck now, and I highly recommend that. It’s not on Origin either, which is awesome.
