Darksiders II preorders upgraded to ‘Limited Editions’

Recommended Videos

If you’ve preordered Darksiders II, you’ll be getting a bit more than you’ve expected, with THQ revealing that any copy reserved prior to release shall become a Limited Edition version at no extra charge.

The Limited Edition contains a code to obtain the game’s first bit of DLC, Argul’s Tomb, for free. That’s it, really. Not much different from any other pre-order bonus, but they gave it a flashy special name. Score one for marketing.

There will, naturally, be a full-on Collector’s Edition (pictured in gallery) for those wanting to spend extra money. For $99, you’ll get the “Limited Edition” alongside a life size replica of Death’s Mask, a downloadable “Shadow of Death” armor and scythe set, a digital copy of the soundtrack and a hardcover art book. You’ll only be able to get the Collector’s Edition as a preorder item.

So there’s all your stuff that you can get if you want!
