Contest: Win a Kindle Fire HD and a copy of 9 Lives!
by Mr Andy Dixon

[Update: Contest over! Grand prize winner is Dogzilla! Runners-up are VoltySquirrel, Frans Van Carpels, Unholyrath, and bloocheese565!]

To celebrate the launch of their latest title, 9 Lives: Casey and Sphynx, our friends at Hungry Moose Games have given us some awesome prize packs to hand out to the Destructoid community! Up for grabs is a Kindle Fire HD, a set of Green Throttle Atlas controllers, an HD TV connector kit, and a copy of 9 Lives!

The game revolves around Sphynx, a temple cat guardian, losing her nine feline lives to Casey, a bumbling museum security guard. So for a chance at one of these awesome prizes, I want you to leave a comment telling us what you would do with each of your lives if you had nine of them. Limit one entry per person, and the contest is open to anyone with a US mailing address.

You have until this Sunday, August 4 at 11:59 PM Pacific to enter. Good luck! A breakdown of the prizes is below.

Word puzzler SpellTower arrives on Android this Thursday

Corgi King and Captain of the Destructoid Army, Dale North, is all about SpellTower. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't fond of the little guy myself. The manic word search puzzler is so hot that it was even able to breathe down...

Anomaly: Warzone Earth ported to Kindle Fire in two weeks

Anomaly: Warzone Earth is quite an interesting game with its unique "anti tower defense" sort of formula which basically turns the genre the other way around and has the player attack bases instead of defending them. Th...

[Update: Contest over! Winner is z0mbie5!]

Easily one of the hottest Christmas items this year is the Kindle Fire. The full color 7" multi-touch display tablet does it all by bringing you books, movies, TV shows, apps, web browsing, cloud storage and so much more.

We're giving one away as part of our 25 Days of Giving celebration thanks to Electronic Arts to play some of the best EA mobile Android games! We'll be giving you a gift card so you can load EA games from Scrabble to Madden NFL 12 on to your new Kindle! In order to win the tablet, just leave a comment below telling us which of the EA mobile games you want to play the most.

We'll be randomly selecting a winner to give the Kindle Fire to after the contest closes on December 18 at 11:59PM CST. No limit to entry and contest is open to anyone with a US based shipping address the prize can be shipped to. Good luck!
