There is no story more desperate and grasping than the, “Oh my God, a bit of a screenshot spotted over somebody’s shoulder,” but that’s the story we have. This is possibly the first bit of gameplay imagery anybody’s ever seen of Thief 4, however, so it’s kind of a big deal.
There’s so little to go on that it’s almost staggering. We’re expected to find out more from Eidos next week, but until then, feel free to revel in rudderless speculation.
All I know is, it’s a brave studio that makes both a sequel to Deus Ex and Thief at the same time. These guys have titanium balls.
