Two new S-rank W-Engines in ZZZ 1.7

According to @_hiragara_ on X, the Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 update will introduce two new S-rank W-Engines. Their names are currently unknown, but they are Vivian and Vlad Hugo’s signature W-Engines.

Here are the stats and effects of the new gears in ZZZ 1.7 at level 60 and rank 1:

Vivian’s signature W-Engine

  • Base ATK – 713
  • Second stat – Anomaly Proficiency 90
  • Effect – Attribute Anomaly Buildup rate is increased by 40%. When the wielder deals Ether DMG, their Anomaly Proficiency is increased by 20 for 5 seconds, stacking up to 6 times. Can trigger once every 0.5 seconds at most, refreshing the duration upon repeated triggers.

Vivian’s W-Engine is pretty good since it provides a lot of Anomaly Proficiency bonus from both its second stat and passive effect.

Hugo’s signature W-Engine

  • Base ATK – 713
  • Second stat – CRIT Rate 24%
  • Effect – Attack is increased by 25%. When [EX Special Skill], [Chain Attack], or [Ultimate] deals Ice DMG, the move’s CRIT DMG is increased by 25%. If these moves hit enemies in a Daze state, their CRIT DMG is further increased by 25%.

Hugo’s signature W-Engine also appears to be very strong. The second stat gives a CRIT Rate bonus, while the passive effect significantly boosts the CRIT DMG bonus of Hugo’s [EX Special Skill], [Chain Attack], or [Ultimate] after he deals Ice DMG to enemies. The bonus increases even more when he hits enemies in a Daze state.

The data is from the beta, so the stats and effects of the W-Engines might change upon official release of the update.
