ZeniMax files trademark for Deathmark

Recommended Videos

superannuation has dug up a little trademark filing by Bethesda parent company ZeniMax. The filing is for a game called Deathmark and it has been filed. You can see the file at the link above where it says “trademark filing.” It’s a filing for the game, which is called Deathmark. To summarize this first paragraph, Deathmark is a game title that ZeniMax, who is the parent company of Bethesda, has trademarked.

Can you tell that I have absolutely no further information on this? A quick Google search reveals that Deathmark is either something from Magic: The Gathering or something from Star Wars. Since this game is clearly not related to either of those things because those things already have their own game developers let’s try to make some other connections. This could definitely be one of id’s upcoming games under ZeniMax, but then why wouldn’t id trademark it? Maybe ZeniMax isn’t trying to make a Fallout MMO at all (legal issues?) and this is the MMO title they’ve been hiring for. Either way it seems we’ll be getting a new game from the growing powerhouse.
