Ys Origin will land on Xbox One this spring

From out of nowhere, DotEmu has announced that Ys Origin will be coming to the Xbox One this spring. This marks the first time the series has landed on any Xbox platform and it comes in the wake of a refocus from DotEmu on publishing more retro franchises. Since Ys Origin was a pretty big hit on PC, PS4 and Vita, it only made sense to bring the game to Xbox One.

There isn’t much else to go on, but the publisher has uploaded a short clip that gives us a quick look at the game on Xbox One hardware. It definitely still looks like Ys Origin, so that is nice.
