You’ve got 4 days to buy 35 games from GOG.com before they’re gone

Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Red Faction will be removed from sale

One of the assumptions of buying games digitally is that you assume they’ll always be available. That’s sadly not the case, but GOG.com is offering discounts on 35 games that it will be removing from its catalog on September 2.

Among the games are horror titles like Amnesia: The Dark Descent, the Penumbra Collection and the Dark Fall games. If action is more your thing, then you can buy the first two Red Faction games, Painkiller, Summoner or Silver as well. Some titles are reduced up in price by 80% so now might be the time to snap up some old school titles for a rainy day.

There’s no reason being offered as to why the games are being withdrawn from GOG.com, but there is the promise that any titles purchased will be kept in your account and able to be downloaded along with their bonus content in the future.
