You’re a spider in Spider and real-life weather changes the game

PlayStation 4, Vita, PC, and more

I was going to get into my usual spiel about earning a subtitle, but Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon is actually a sequel to 2009’s Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor. So 2009’s Spider gets a posthumous talking to for colon business and 2015’s Spider gets a talking to for just being kind a goofy, unwieldy name. C’mon, guys.

Anyways, Spider is a pretty puzzler coming soon to PS4, Vita, Android and next week (August 6) to PC, iPhones.

This PS Blog post is a good breakdown, but using science and data mining, your personal real-time weather and time of day will be represented in-game and affect gameplay. It’s a real Nintendo sort of tact. But I live in San Francisco, where the weather is always the same. We really could use some rain.
