You should care: Maestro! Jump in Music coming to iPhone

Recommended Videos

Pastagames’ Maestro! Jump in Music is a Europe-exclusive rhythm game for DS. Before today, I wasn’t aware it existed; you probably haven’t had prior experience with it either.

That’s perfectly fine, so long as this announcement — that the game is being ported to iPhone as Maestro: Green Groove — doesn’t get overlooked.

“Never heard of it. Looks weird. Familiar games or GTFO!” Don’t be that guy. You’ll end up looking like a fool, because the combination of rhythm- and platform-based gaming in Maestro looks goddamn brilliant. And since it’s so touch-centric, the upcoming iPhone port ought to be just as good.

I need to see if I can’t swipe a copy of the DS version off Joseph when he inevitably finds one in his international exploits.
