It’s unclear what will ultimately come of the petition to get Dark Souls on PC, which started off as a humble request and quickly ballooned into a full-blown movement. Having surpassed 60,000 signatures, another milestone has been met: we’ve heard back from the powers that be.

Namco Bandai forum admin Shoupinou, who helped kickstart this whole thing, has responded with a couple of reassuring messages. “My boss(es) even came to talk to me about this, after it explodes all around the world,” he writes. “If you wanted to have the attention of Namco Bandai Games, now you have it. The future is in your hands, and I hope you will keep supporting this.”

Shoupinou followed up: “I can’t say it’s going to happen (I wish I had this power ^^), but I can assure management of the company will know about it, and I think that already a good achievement and a good step forward.”

[Thanks, Leighton]
