You got your Terraria in my Edge of Space

Skeletron joins the space adventure upgraded as Omegatron

It’s no secret that HandyMan Studios’ Edge of Space has taken a few cues from the 2D open-world darling Terraria, but now the two titles have even more in common than their similar mechanics. Skeletron, the boss monster who guards the dungeon in Terraria, is receiving some cybernetic upgrades to become Omegatron in Edge of Space, bearing a striking resemblance to that robot-skeleton-thing in Contra III.

PAX Prime 2013 attendees will be among the first to experience the crossover content, but those not attending can still try the game out on Steam Early Access. Jake Crane, lead designer of Edge of Space promises that there is still “cool stuff planned” for the title’s future. Omegatron Prime, perhaps?
