You fight like a girl! Now go grab the Skullgirls OST

Recommended Videos

Skullgirls is easily the most bizarre fighting game to come out in recent years. A girl modeled after the squash-and-stretch cartoons of the 20s? Another girl who can be diced up like summer squash and then be up and about again in seconds as though she was merely bitten by a mosquito? It’s a level of insanity that puts a big, fat smile on ol’ daddy Holmes’ face.

The game’s jazz-infused soundtrack is now available to download through iTunes or CD Baby for a cool ten buckaroos. It features compositions by Vincent Diamante (Flower), Blaine McGurty (Retro Remix Revue), and Brenton Kossak (Lost Moon Radio). Of course, the big-name contributor is Michiru Yamane, the legendary Konami composer behind most Castlevania games from the post-Symphony of the Night era, among many other games. Just listening to some of her tracks on the album, you can almost hear the Vampire Killer whip cracking in the background!

More digital stores will be carrying the soundtrack in the near future, for keep an eye on the Skullgirls music page for any updates.
