You Don’t Know Jack ESRB rating holds promise

The ESRB has posted a rating for the upcoming relaunch of the classic party trivia game You Don’t Know Jack rumored to be published by THQ. The game, which will be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii has received a “T” rating by the board for “Crude Humor, Drug Reference, Language, Mild Blood,” and, “Sexual Themes.”

That sounds about right to me. I do believe I have played every single You Don’t Know Jack release on PC, often forcing unwitting guests in my home to play along upon threat of bodily harm.

It does beg the question as to how they’re going to manage to pull of Gibberish Questions, however. These timed mondegreen puzzles are a staple of the series but I can’t see myself trying to use a controller to enter in answers quickly and, while I don’t think it unreasonable to keep a USB keyboard on-hand for just such occasions, not everybody is a freak like me.
