Or notify Niantic of badly-placed ones
Pokémon Go has gotten me to explore just-around-the-corner places I’d never otherwise think to check out, and for that, I am thankful. But depending on where you live, you might not be so fortunate with Niantic’s predetermined real-world Gym locations and PokéStops. There’s a solution for that.
It requires some time and energy on your end to track down exact street addresses, but there’s a form to request PokéStops and Gyms. Besides recommending new locations, you can also use this as a way to inform the company of “dangerous” spots or ones placed on your personal property. While I wouldn’t expect to see results so soon after launch, your feedback should help in the future.
I don’t know that I’ll make use of the form (there’s a nearby megachurch and cemetery with a silly amount of Stops, so I’m set), but for those of you feeling left out in your neighborhood, good luck. And to the poor souls who have to sort through this digital suggestion box, godspeed.
