Cut that meat

Remember when Nintendo said that they’d be rolling out a new Zelda: Breath of the Wild feature “sometime” today? Well that sometime has come, my friends. It’s a small feature, but a feature nonetheless.

All you have to do is head over to the news section of your Nintendo Switch (it’s the red dialog box at the bottom), click Breath of the Wild, and then select the article that starts with “Befriend a dog with these free, in-game treats,” scroll down to “start software,” and you’re good to go.

When your file boots up the sky will rain meat and apples — a process you can repeat as often as you’d like. That’s it! It’s a tiny little bonus, and likely a test of what’s to come in the future as it pertains to news channel DLC for the Switch. The Wii U version seems exempt at this time in case you were wondering.
