You can now take Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 for a ride on iOS

Recommended Videos

Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is now available for fellow iDevice owners. All 56 characters are intact, sans in-app-purchasing — so you don’t have to worry about the “it’s on the app!” discussion months down the line. In addition to the standard game, you’ll also be able to fight other players via Bluetooth, and utilize a new touch “flick system” for special moves. You can grab the game for $2.99 now, but after May 6th, it’ll be $4.99.

The reviews on iTunes are decent, so if you haven’t experienced Marvel 2 yet, you might want to try it, as the core game with actual buttons is pretty incredible. Likewise, you could always download the game on the Xbox Live Arcade and PSN (or dig up the old Dreamcast, Xbox, or PS2 disc!). I expect to see a lot of “EZ Cable iOS combo” videos, as well as “No Android, no buy!” comments.
